Global Competence in Canadian Teacher Candidates

The purpose of the study was to determine global competence 115 Canadian teacher candidates using a new measurement tool. Non-parametric tests indicated several differences in self-reported within individual indicators across three areas Exploring, Engaging, and Acting with competence. Two showed that male reported higher levels than did females Exploring areas. Teacher intending teach middle senior high school one indicator area. Moreover, Canadian-born Engaging non-Canadian-born students six total. While there were no by age, results experience their education program associated greater all as five total, at stage.
